My friend just sent his car for servicing at S**R.

They changed Denso Iridium for him FXE20 HE11. Cost $220 for four pcs.

So expensive ? Can Lation use other types of plug ?

Your friend could easily save money by going to shops that have spark plug cleaner. Just clean and re-gap at a fraction of the original cost. The idea of use and Reuse is here and is very health for your pocket !!

In between the 5 years, it will be best clean and remove the built up carbon and do regapping so that yr plugs will still perform as good as new :D

If possible, use copper plugs. $4-5 per piece only.

No matter how long life the plug is, there is no escaping of taking out and cleaning it. So, must well use cheaper copper; every 20K take out and throw away.

Any chance of showing photo of Latio car engine bay. Just curious why it's so difficult/time consuming to remove and replace the plugs. Maybe the shop is not using the right tools.
