Ozzychua Neutral Newbie November 26, 2015 Share November 26, 2015 This is a good sharing. Any update or more detail (logging too) for now? Thanks 5-6 days might be too short to cover the whole of taiwan islandmy tried and suggestion:Day 1: Taipei to Puli (chocolate and honey)Day 2: Puli to ChingQing (Hill drive and farm visit)Day 3: ChingQing to Hua Lian to Chia Yi (famous for Ye Shi)Day 4: Chai Yi to Alishan to YuShan to Dong Pu (most scenic drive and hot spring hotel at Dong Pu)Day 5: Dong Pu to Shui Li to Sun Moon Lake to Puli and back to Taipeiif you are a foodie... this route will bring you to many local food not found in Taipei CityNotes:Left Hand drive, taiwan is hilly, so the junction are not straight so might be confusing, many bikes zoom around with no regards to direction,Rent a car and ask them for GPS machinelocals outside taipei are very friendly, might overrun time. Ozzychua Neutral Newbie November 28, 2015 Share November 28, 2015 Yes you're right. Out of city is where self-driven are recommended. In n city? 算了吧。 Better take cab unless someone are so use to the driving there. Remember to standby to quarrel and fight while driving. Godspeed Outside of Taipei .. mostly can park anywhere along the road. More like MY.

For 6 person, either Wish or Starex. But renting the Wish I think the last person will be very uncomfortable and you will not have much luggage space left. Starex is more like a van. https://www.easyrent.com.tw/WEB130.aspx
