Honda Edix - Reliable workshop for service repair jobs

My Edix is over 5 years old!

 

And COE is so high!

 

So, time for some major servicing/ repair jobs.

 

Anyone come across reliable workshop that specialized in this model?

 

Guess, many Edix owners are having similar thoughts like mine.

Edix is another honda right? think any car workshop that service honda cars will be able to handle Edix.

I was advised that Merlin Motor Works services alot of Edixes and many owners go there. I just did my servicing there and found it good. Efficient and fast. Car in and out in less than 1hr with basic car wash.

 

Changed engine oil, auto transmission oil, spark plugs, top up aircon gas and changed aircon filter.

 

The previous workshop I go to for my previous ride will take easily 2-3 hrs for such servicing.

just did my major servicing last month for my edix.

Bought my things off the stock list, such as timing belt , bearing, air con belt, power steering belt plus

the seals all $192.

 

sent it to stamford tyres and they charge me for labour @ $150.

total damage for this is $342.

 

if coolant flush, engine flush power steering and transmission fluid any other place can do it also.

the price will not have much difference.

Hi, like what some of us mentioned earlier, most workshops that does honda cars can do such jobs. You have a couple to choose from depending who you find comfortable leaving your Edix to.

hi i also driving a 2006 edix. on mileage 100k just changed the relevants.

bought the parts from waterloo street.

engine belt, power steering belt , air con belt bearings , water pump and relevant gasket for $192.

then send to stamford tyres at lokyang for change at $150. quite a good job done.

 

as for those brake pads bought from a bro online about $80 and changed at $20 in malaysia.

 

for those oils and coolant also bought in Singapore and changed in Msia.

 

went to a few workshops cheapest quoted for engine belt change is about $550.

Frankly, I also don't quite like going to Defu as the workshop is kinda messy.

He has already shifted out to his own workshop at 10 kaki bukit road 2, #03-31.

no wonder his missing when i went there, and no more HONDA cars around.. only van and lorry.
