Audi would be my next car [laugh] . Signed for 523i last weekend!

Good choice with the 523i .... the BMW IL-6 is still one of the best engine around. I am not too sure about the new 4 potter turbo for the F10 - 520i and 528i. Someone did a good comparisan in the BMW website .... at the end, the 523i is preferred compared to the 520i and 528i. Jag is nice but re-sale is non existence ... and between the C200 and 523i, my vote will go to 523i as well. I switched from a BMW to Merc and there is something about the BMW ..... i still miss driving the BMW....

Agree, wearnes give big disc on their cars. They offer me 35k disc off the price from XJ 3.0LWB Diesel and high trade in, and A8L only 10k off. 730Li also bout the same with A8 and Jaguar also free servicing and part for 5 years plus 2 year free road tax worth 13k(trying to remember). Come to think again, XJ is also worth to consider that time

Concerning Euro NCAP crash tests, the latest batch of tests includes Jaguar XF 3.0 Diesel. Interestingly, and perhaps surprisingly, it only achieved 4 Stars.

Neutral Newbie

Jags are getting really handsome nowadays. I believe they will get really popular when their smaller engines unveil in the near future.

Most of the Jaguars are heavy - even Evoque is struggling with 2L turbo! It would be failure if they go any smaller without shedding weight!

One year back side itchy led me go back to showrooms yet again. This time No MB at all (I still feel that E class design is quite ah-pek). Audi got out so fast on the fact that all look same A4 to A6, even to some extend A8 too...

That left only Jag XF 2.2D and 3.0P apart from Bimmer. Jag 2.2 noisy...Frankly after driving F10 for quite some time, XF interior looks quite old (may be due to classic style). Last time I really liked the interior, but this time did not like much. XJ is damn good, but at that price you have other options too.

So, the funniest thing is signed on dot for 520i with almost no loss or no gain....so, its time to change the signature...
