Anyone did self import car from malaysia?

if you're buying malaysian made, should be ok. many years ago the malay HOD in my school imported a perdana. till today it remains the only singapore registered perdana i've ever seen.

 

if you're buying others eg continental, might as well forget it. cos malaysian import tax also very high. car price might even be higher than singapore. once you add ARF and COE, won't be much cheaper i guess. better to import from country of manufacture.

 

Hmmm.. I wont mind bringing in a Perdana.. It looks nice.. And drives not bad..

but all the state governments claim unrealiable and changed to camry/S80/E200 wor...

maybe this was their excuse to change new cars?.... :D
