i got lukas for $160 from groupons. You can take a look on my thread posted here but some smart alec says the video is so-so. Nothing fantastic. I believed that smart alec must be using some 1080HD / 20,000,000:1 Smart Contrast live recording.

i buy in car camera from groupon never ask me sign package lei.

Ya! I bought a groupon for a massage session, it was so difficult to book an appointment.

In the end, I requested for a refund, and I unsubscribed all the groupons and alldeal-whathaveyous websites.

groupon deals sucks. i once bought a glare spa deal. on the website it says what best polish best sealent. booked an appointment and guess what? is just normal car wash and apply a very very thin layer of dont know what sealent and thats it. 1/2 hour job for 65 dollars. wtf.

The DVR you got is quite ok with regards to spec as it comes with GPS and of 720p format. But I was baffled by the choppiness of the video you posted. Then I realised the frame rate is only of 16fps at 720p after going online for more info! In the past, standard is VGA, now 720p, moving forard is 1080p. But should be 30fps regardless.

which video i posted is choppy? I feel this in car camera i bought is quite good lei. At a steal of $160 from groupon plus i DIY installation, i am quite happy with my purchase. I must admit sometimes groupon have rubbish online stuff but this is one stuff which is benefical for me. Driving in singapore, i am forced to buy in car camera with so many jokers driving around.

Ya, me too and I bought that groupon too. The lady boss keep asking me to sign up for their $238 package. But I was thinking if they can't even take pride in their work and do such a lousy job for the $65 deal, then no way am I going to spend the $238.

Different people has different threshold, there are people who feel that even 24fps is not good enough, some who feel must be full HD then good enough. If you feel it is good enough, then it is good enough for you. But do not praise it too much, as spec wise it is not that par at 16fps. If not for GPS and good build quality, alot of 720p DVR are selling online at < $100 including shipment in china websites.
