Orient got this 'once in the blue moon" that is very nice. Like it personally. Think should be within the budget.

I bought my PI Seiko here

30-50% off agent price. worth it. The warranty is by the watch company (Not agent).

Anyway, Seiko watch damn durable......

I cracked my watch glass against the door....sent to agent (@ Kallang, nearby Pico) to change.

no question ask. just pay for glass and labour.

didn't even ask for warranty or where I bought the watch

Oh? really. I was wary about skywatches cos it's like inhouse warranty or something.

My wife's tissot died after 4 years. Something abt corrosion around battery area. zzz.

We both are not into watches. My wife wants something cheap.

Seiko criteria for women not too awesome.

Have to say Skagen watches look nice... where to get them other than millenia walk?

If don't want the battery leakage problem, due to prolong usage, think Citizen eco drive.

For those with quartz, next time change battery, don't use the Akaline version of the battery, usually denote as AG?. Get the silver oxide version, usually the SR??? .Less likely to leak.

bro, as long as using battery, have it replaced asap once it runs out of juice. if not, batt might leak and spoil the internals of any watch which i think is what happened to the tissot.

tissot quite durable. the one i gave my watch more than 10 years ago still going strong.

Hmm lol, maybe bah. dilly dally here n there.

We wear watches infrequently so maybe it's better to get an automatic to prevent this problem?

I only wear watch when i'm travelling or once or twice a year lol.

skywatches doing many online business. you can google.

I bought Seiko Solar watch...don't need to worry about battery.

Agent price estimate S$600

Even with discount 25%, its abt S$450.

I bought S$280

The price differences is really too much.

Don't know about tissot. I changed some of my quartz, manufacturer do use akaline button battery, as they are cheaper than silve oxide.

The black dial version is metal bracelet. Happy hunting. Wins at bencoolen gives good discount and also a AD. If not can drop by Big Time the distributor of Orient, they have almost all range displayed there.
