My singtel broadband contract has ended on the 22nd this month but I did not recontract with them. Till now it is still not terminated. Is it bcos termination only done at end of month? I've subscribe new to starhub and the installation was done last thurs. The cable modem work for three days and this evening ssuddenly unable to connect to the internet with the led blinking instead of staying lit. Called support and tomorrow tech coming down. When on Singtel, no problem at all. Hai....too bad this round no promotion, else i recontract singtel liao.

Mio internet follows the billing cycle ... you can only terminate at the end of your current billing cycle date.

I also waited for about 2 weeks after my contract end-date to canx my Mio.

Worse. Contract end means they start to charge you the normal, usual non discounted price unless you recontract.

Quickly call and terminate if u dun need anymore.

i highly doubt so. According to my source(s), M1's principal strategem is to offer customers superior value for money well at least in the sense of $/paper specs ratio. If you don't mind, you can always check out Superinternet. It is the 4th ISP that actually provide fibre optic bandwidth to residential customers.

anyway you can request at the counter that you would like to opt for the PC Show/IT Show/SITEX/COMEX promo. My understanding is that the promo for such fairs are actually still valid after they have concluded till they are superceded by the commencement of another fair.

I called in on behalf of my wife but need the account holder(my wife) to call in personally. The indian english accent lady customer service speaks like machine gun. I asked her to slow down and she heaved as if unhappy...really pissed and continue to speak as fast or even faster. Anyway, she said termination takes 7 days. Else the charges will continue. That's all I gather after asking her to repeat a couple of times.

My starhub line comes on this morning with the voice line activated. Hooray!. I guess they must be doing something at the back end to activate my voice line which caused the downtime last evening. I discovered a missed call by the starhub customer care during that time. I suspect must be to inform me about the line configuration. I am going to terminate my singtel phone line too.
