None. Cause you will not want it. Manufacturers offer springs of different stiffness already.

You dun need to trouble yourselves with that la.. TEIN provides a range of springs to cater to all cars. If you like it super stiff, get the black spring stiffeners. If you want more stiff?? Add a rubber hose to your spring before fitting.

Btw, if you make your suspension extremely stiff, you may be to reinforce your suspension mounts.

I can only say to go to spring workshop. Look at Yellow pages. Some of this smaller size factories may still be around.

 

Many years ago I custom made some tension springs for front seats. To replace the original softer springs.

 

Its at one of the industrial park at Bukit Batok 2 or 3 floor, Sorry, cant confirm if they are still there.

 

 

Problem is that you have to bring one spring for him to fabricate.

 

I can do without one spring for seat, but can you drive with one remaining spring?

yeah. not worth customising CO.

just search for the best fit and the most suitable one will do good.

btw, take note that CO will improve handling especially cornering but will also lessen on the driving comfort.

You have calculated your required spring rate alr? Are the damping rates 'matched' to your desired rates?

 

The springs for coilover application is not any chapalang spring steel.. also need to be treated for corrosion protection and whatnot. Wonder if the spring shops in sg have the ability and capacity to make springs to that kind of quality and specifications.. =/

u need to know ur Internal diameter/Length/and hardness ..
