You too handsome. Women distracted. Your fault. Penalty?... (Just kidding this time)

dunno leh, women seems easily get distracted. They like multi-tasking and some driving by like to watch scenery more than roads and cars, my passengers on board sometimes comment why some drivers look at me or my car and not focused on driving. My car only has a simple small decal and nothing else leh.

I'm ok to let them look at me, but i don't like it when they do last minute "super" stunts to shock others... [whip]

So sorry. This could be due to your faulty small decal. Decal: Think big or none at all. Safety comes first. Your beautiful decal looks no better if they crashed into you when their stunts failed.

I think lorry drivers can be really dangerous.

I really feel cyclists/motorcyclists even more dangerous. Example: I do call some cyclists/motorcyclists suicide cyclists, but not other road-users.

Sorry, but I think this thread is absolutely misleading and ahem...stupid. How can someone define a dangerous driver with a dangerous car? What categorise a car 'dangerous' in the first place? <_< Higher hp = more dangerous? Bigger body = more dangerous? Or Super low hp = more dangerous due to possible road hogging chances? It's crazy...

Sorry TS, a potential dangerous driver can be driving any car. To me, I define a dangerous driver as someone who drinks and drive...someone who street race often for the kick...someone who is using hp while driving...someone who is unaware of the surrounding...etc etc. Too many to list. If you look at the examples I listed here, it can be any car make. Be it Chery QQ, be it Taxis, Corollas, Rex, EVOs, Lambo, Ferraris etc...as long as someone displaying one of the characteristics / actions that I listed here is driving it..then it's DANGEROUS.

To stereotype a particular make to dangerous drivers is just plain stupidity. Sorry, but it's my personal opinion. No offence.

I don't think insurance companies are stupid.

certain makes attract certain kinds who drive in a certain way.

I must admit that my driving would probably seem dangerous to other road users (the stick to the speed limit on lane one types) and to most of my passengers (some of whom actually note that I signal almost all the time before changing lanes)....

i think we drive similar cars btw [;)]

the key is to drive within vehicle+driver limits. get carried away and doesn't matter what one drives. but of course, with higher bhp, easier to get carried away. with AWD, complacency is the biggest danger.

Yup, glad you view it as my personal opinion. I too somewhat agree that one may view high insurance costs as a possible indicator. However.....don't forget....insurance companies also tend to set higher premium for super cars, high powered rides as well. That doesn't mean those driving Ferraris (high insurance premium) are dangerous drivers. But of cos, I need to point out that high insurance premiums are also due to high accident rates and coupled with its relatively high power, cars like Rex and EVOs will have to bear the high ins premium. That's reality, I guess. <_< But still, going along this line, I do see a rise in accident rates in cars from other makes/models...the only reason their ins premiums are not rising sky high is that in the eyes of the insurance companies, they are still the bread and butter cars on the roads...low risk.

i hear evo insurance premium lower, despite being higher powered.

i don't think it's because evos handle better (i acknowledge they do, we can agree to disagree on this). But somehow, scooby drivers do take more risks. maybe cos the cars themselves are much cheaper?

I'm not surprise Subaru top the list. Surprisingly, Evo drivers are more careful and tame.

they got something to prove to the evo? [laugh]

mine is rather stock. the evo will win. no need to play.

Evo is the king of bread n butter cars man.. they can have the title, since they pay so much more for the car [lipsrsealed]

Yeah, I know this to be true mate. Got a couple of friends in the Porsche club and they drive like all hell broke loose! Max Respect to them for driving the car like it's meant to be driven [nod]

wish i got to see that more often. usually i see porsches driving just like every other typical car on the road.

of course, i'm not sure what goes on at orchard area. I heard some deafening engine roars the few occasions i went there, not sure what kind of make. but sounds more like ferrari/lambo.

I think road hoggers and those who dont signal piss me off even more. and those who dont keep into their freaking lanes wesp during a S-turn. love to "convinently" filter into others lane w/o even looking @ their blind spots.

Got a brother whom I nagged for reversing, using only rear view mirror alone. He never used side mirrors, never turn his head to look. He had assumied to be safe (no idea about blind zones). He got many dents both front and rear bumpers for each car he owns (he owned a few cars). He had injured himself by himself cuddling a tree on island divider due to ignorance of how auto-transmission works. He found out what is road adhesion about with that accident.

the most dangerous ones who risk their lives and other lives that i see most often are the subaru WRXes.

those who drive WRX and dont zip in and out tightly in traffic are few.

that is base on my personal experience on the roads.

does not mean every single WRX driver drives that way but a high percentage , definitely

off the tracks, i've only ever seen / witness one 964 being driven like mad.

otherwise, all the Porsches on the roads are fairly tamed.

in orchard road , you may hear the V12 and exhuast sounds of the likes of ferraris, lambos but, they dont go fast.

they just rev a lot to get attention, thats all.

tell him not to learn the hard way when he reverse and hit his loved ones one fine day.

Last year he told me he had turned over a new leaf and be goody-goody. But his wife becomes the new collector of dents and scratches on both bumpers. One day she rear-ended someone. Now she learned her mistakes, too. What puzzled me is why they do not find it logical to avoid accidents all these years, and must learn through mistakes?

Started this poll mainly because i saw two different honda civic cutting lanes dangerously all in one single day.

Some local "company" interviewed 200 people - claims it represents Singaporeans. [rolleyes]
