they are not quoted based on make and model la.

age and profile also helps.

my wrx, if i put myself as main named driver: i pay 8k

if i put myself as Secondary named driver with main driver under my grandfather, its around 3.5k.

so its not only about make what.

if not, my grandfather would be paying the same price as if it were to be put under my name.

bro, you must be very young........ 8k is alot......

True, quite a few Porsche drivers like to 'chiong' when it's safe (I'm including myself [laugh] ) but this is fairly model-specific. 911, Boxster, Cayman - definitely. Panamera - far less prevalent. Cayenne - almost never.

There are "auntie" and "uncle" Porsches, too, you know, with drivers to match. [:p]

A related observation (or sweeping generalisation) - there are more Lambo drivers having serious FUN out there than Ferrari drivers. Also, almost every Aston driver I've seen (not many of them, of course) seems like they "just wanna have fun", like in the Cyndi Lauper song. [laugh]

Yeah, those are the models who 'choing'! A group of them like to go in to Malaysia on Sunday mornings for a breakfast drive through the countryside. Followed them once; very organised and responsible drivers for the most part. Some had their families with them too.

True about the Lambo/Ferrari observation too. Not sure about Astons 'cos I seldom see one around. Also, I've seen some Maseratis with super-loud Kreissieg exhaust systems in full GT regalia prowling our streets. Niccccccccccccce!

what in heaven's name... met two cars driven by women that both do crazy things today... i don't want to stereotype any cars or sex, but just stating the facts here.

1st woman encounter, nissan march, near commonwealth area, did a "super" filter from 3rd lane to turn right at 1st lane at the very last minute near the junction, sticking her butt out into the 2nd lane, head facing the divider line, and just stop there, waiting behind 2 cars at 1st lane. I was at 2nd lane and jammed brake. The car behind me almost got the shock of his life....

2nd encounter, woman driving Renault Koleos, orchard area, i signal to filter left for quite a while and was waiting coz of traffic, a car on the left moved off quite far away, woman's renault behind that car is not moving and there was about 5 cars length between her car and the one in front. I slowly filtered in, manage to straighten my car and got into the traffic flow. Suddenly women which is still about two cars length behind me start horning. I looked at my side mirrors, saw no other cars around me doing any funny things. She kept horning while still behind me, i suppose she is unhappy i got in front of her. Does it really hurt the egos to let someone filter into your lane if you not moving and he need to turn left later? or maybe girl drivers tend to get "horny" sometimes? [hur]
