The taxi ramm into the back of the stationary car, he was standing in front of his car.

The open wounds of his leg.....brings back reality to me that life is fragile.

Inspirational blog. Thanks for sharing.

I am thankful for being a average nobody with healthy body.

Also never change your flat tyre yourself on Expressways.

Ask for help-----EMAS or private tire changing trucks.

And stay away from your stationary car.

just my 2 cents.

I have this impression that theTP is quite lenient with the taxi drivers. Nowadays our roads are full of these speeding Sonata Taxis. why are these taxi drivers not afraid of getting speeding tickets?

he stayed away from his stationary car but his car (1yr old swift sport) stalled on 1st lane..i guess the divider has alot of small plants/trees so he got limited space..

i wonder why was the car stalled...the car doesnt look very badly damaged..

unlucky young chap....the pictures were quite gruesome...

I ever encountered a close shave of accident... At bukit merah area, near to queenway shopping centre and opposite the fire station....It was traffic red light and all cars stopped....I was the forth or fifth cars from the stop line and all cars in my lane had stopped, I was probably the last car on that lane......suddenly, a Toyota wish trans cab appeared on my right lane with high speed and did not appear to slow down to a stop....it rammed into the back of a Honda stream on the lane to my right and the Honda stream was pushed forward into my lane...it in turn rammed into stationary merc right in front of my lane....I was probably 1/2 car length behind the merc that got rammed...till today I'm still feeling unbelievable that I escaped the accident...of cos, the main killer is the trans cab.....the air bag was activated and the female taxi driver was in shock to even get out of the taxi....

I believe it would be better to try to drive the car out of the Expressway instead of being there with a flat tyre(like sitting duck waiting for accident)

Wait like sitting ducks? I believe safer to get out of the Expressway even if can make it. Otherwise hopefully got spare tyre to change (some spare tyres also flat).
