Simple things that make me happy

Let's have a positive topic for a change.

I like the smell of wet grass after a heavy downpour.

It symbolizes to me a fresh new beginning.

Rewind back to childhood, it is time to go out and play again. Can go jump into water puddles, can look for earthworms to squish. So many possibilities just waiting to be explored.

Seems like as we grow older, our senses get numb. What used to be entertaining, seems dull. Even don't enjoy my favourite food stall as much as I use to.

Right now, hardly anything can put a smile on my face except my baby daughter, but I'm afraid that would fade away too as she grows older.

I like to be in a big open field early in the morning and not see any building as far as my eye can see. Then flying my r/c heli, enjoying the wide open space.

I guess only in my dreams, it can never happen in SG.

You must check out which areas still have reclaimed land awaiting development. Last time the site of Changi Naval Base really was something like that ..... not exactly a field but barren land in every direction.
