Lijun07 1st Gear September 20, 2011 Share September 20, 2011 Am driving one now... From the first batch which comes with hankook tyres. So far so good, overtaking is easy... Back is quite spacious. Just that interior quality is very plastic compare to mk5.

Proton_neutron 1st Gear September 20, 2011 Share September 20, 2011 VW gonna scrap the twincharged- Super and Turbo-charged system, and in its place will be a twin-scroll turbocharger, come Mk 6.5/ Mk 7 Golf. I read it somewhere, but can't remember the link.

Mechanically identical to Mk6 GTI. In fact, the warranty claims for Skoda is much lower than VW and Audi according to a research in UK or Europe. Very strange brand. I think they will use percentages to take that into account. Btw, Skodas are pretty popular in UK and Europe. So the difference might not be too big. VW is nice but the difference in pricing does makes me choose Skoda.
