Is it true that IUs without the E|R|P label on the bracket are illegal? Anyone went for inspection without the label and passed inspection or is it a ploy by shops to fleece us? Let's discuss.

me 2.... just got my car inspected few months back and confirm they nvr check on the IU.... even when road block, police only check roadtax.... they nvr use their torchlight to shine at the erp unit at all...

hmmmm... i don't think there is such aftermarket IU?

if so, the replica ones won't be so kuku not to paste with ERP label.

want to fake also must fake until look like real mah.

the IU market is so limited within SG, might as well do something more profitable, IMO.

not mandatory,

but they r useful when u go under operational ERP gantries,

and enter ERP-payment carparks.
