Latka 1st Gear September 16, 2011 Share September 16, 2011 Yahoo News 18 Chinese nationals jailed over fake degrees For their involvement in a fake degree scam, at least 18 foreign workers from China were sentenced earlier this week to jail in Singapore for four weeks each. The workers had been found by a local court to have provided forged certificates to obtain work passes to work for T Y Enterprise and Sun Blues Cleaning Maintenance. But i guess there is nothing the authorities can do about this. I do know of another case where the company asked the employee to pay for the monthly work permit levy or she would not get the job. But i guess there is nothing the authorities can do about this. i agreed. its so common.....many restaurant are doing that. Even a Pino maid who comes to singapore to work previously can return to Singapore and work as a S-pass holder all with their fake certificate.
