Diveshaft breaking soon

my mit grandis left side drive shat has been giving me the clok clok sound for over a mth now.

 

it getting louder and think going to break anytime.

 

where wld be a gd w/s for the repare? C&C is charging 1k+.

 

maybe a recon one will do since old car...

Tink there is a wkshop ELITE specialising in driveshafts located in AMK. Can call Jason at 97430160. They also do OEM or recon ones and servicing of driveshafts......me nt related to him or his company but came across ctc frm another forum.

 

Hope this helps....better get them fixed soon....safe ride.

Recon ones would cost you probably about $300-400 per pair. OEM ones maybe $500-600. Recon ones will probably last 1-2 years the most. Go for the OEM ones if you are on a budget.

Try not to use recon or OEM parts on critical location like drive shaft. U can try asking stockist for original made in Jap parts and bring it to reputable WS and ask them change for u. Definitely cheaper than C&C. Don't compromise on safety.

do they do driveshafts for toyota corolla 2003 too? this car also has tok tok tok sound when turning. if i bring to elite to just check whats wrong only, do i have to pay anything? thanks!
