So far have not heard of anyone with engine or gear failure. Yes, the passenger seat can be disabled.

GM will close the Korea assembly plant soon. 

 

New Chevy and other GM cars will prob come direct from North America after Sept. Or perhaps their Thailand and China assembly plants since GM sales are great in these 2 countries

 

The Orlando and Captiva models will be merged and be replaced by the new Equinox as shown below

My understanding is that Alpine Motors are waiting for the newer Euro 6 models to arrive early next year and currently there are no Chevrolet cars for sales.

You cannot buy a new Chevy from Alpine for the moment. 

 

You can however, refer to the Chevrolet Korea website to see what goodies they have right now...some of these models will be here in SG early next year. Eg, Trax, new Cruze, new Malibu, Equinox 

 

I really do wish GM can do a RHD conversion to the Impala as well...
