Woh.. you got almost whole lists of accessories..

I bought OBD 2 Chip and recently Window Visor online as hard to find in Singapore.

I am also interested below items and where did you bought, online or at motor show?

- auto headlight controller (DIY or need Workshop to fix??)

- chrome door handle

- chrome fog lamp cover

- keyfob leather cover

- gear knob and handbrake wrap

- steering wheel wrap

- door lock stainless steel piece and ring (x4)

- cargo net

- LED headlamp / taillights (same as facelift, compatibility unknown)

I saw this on ebay. Cost over $1k for either rear or front. Sent my car pictures to verify if its compatible but they not willing to commit. Told me to see the pictures of the car on their website and compare.

As for the rest:

- chrome door handle

- chrome fog lamp cover

- keyfob leather cover

- gear knob and handbrake wrap

- steering wheel wrap

- door lock stainless steel piece and ring (x4)

- cargo net

you can find it online on Ebay. Seen it on 1 of the Korean online shop(KMT trading) in Ebay. Got some stuff from them before.

Spoke to racechip during the motorshow. The promoter told me aldy installed 3-4 1.4T orlandos in Singapore.

Wonder if it belongs to any of the bros here? Any feedback?

Went shopping for accessories and bought the following:

- auto headlight controller

- chrome door handle

- chrome fog lamp cover

- keyfob leather cover

- gear knob and handbrake wrap

- steering wheel wrap

- door lock stainless steel piece and ring (x4)

- cargo net

Other stuff that is possible to get online:

- window line chrome

- Headlamp/ taillamp chrome lining

- visor (chrome/black)

- LED headlamp / taillights (same as facelift, compatibility unknown)

- audio and cruise control button (for folks with earlier LS model)

- steering wheel accessory (the V part in various colours)

- clear film for door handle well, for bumper, fender etc

- vinyl/carbon fibre sticker for the area near the speakers (protect against kicks when alighting)

- carbon fibre stickers for the steering wheel controls, radio controls and air con controls.

- Centre box

- vinyl cover protection for 2nd row aircon area

- stock sunglass box at driver side

- Replacement accessory for button for side mirror adjustment

- ODB chip

- OBD all mirrors down and up

- LED for interior lighting

- Door catch plate

- Sill plates

- LED bottom plate/mat for cup holders in centre console

- Stainless steel rear boot guard

- LED / carbon fibre Chevrolet Emblem

Hopefully this list can help any other orlando owners who wan to look for list of possible accessories available.

Cheers. [:)]

- vinyl/carbon fibre sticker for the area near the speakers (protect against kicks when alighting)

for this item you need to check with the seller cos orlando overseas may not have the cup holder. So those selling online could be for those without a cup holder as such the surface is flat compared to ours which is curved.

- Centre box

- steering wheel accessory (the V part in various colours)

can let me know when you find one suitable? Been looking for 1 too. Thanks in advance.

Centre box - Try Gmarket kr. I saw got nice fitting 1 with tutorial, saw that they got make use of the rear aircon piece to fixate box in place. So its 1 of the better ones i saw. Cons is need to remove armrest. they also give u something to cover back the hole caused by armrest removal.

Steering wheel accessory - try taobao search cruze steering wheel.

Disclaimer: My orders haven't arrive in sg yet so I don't know if it will fit, esp for those stuff which i ordered Cruze accessories. As with all mods, sometimes it may not turn out the way you expect so pls exercise your own discretion.

I DIY my auto headlight controller ordered from Aliexpress.com.

It is quite easy as you just need to plug it directly into the socket behind the original headlight switch, plug the 2 power clips into spare sockets at the fuse box behind the glove compartment, paste the light sensor on the windscreen and then conceal the cables behind the A-pillars.

The only modification I did was to add extra wires to lengthen the power cables as this headlight controller is made for LHD cars where the headlight switch and fuse box are on the left side but for RHD cars like ours, the headlight switch is on the opposite side.

Hi bro,

The light sensor, i saw in an online tutorial from the seller that you can hide it inside the box behind the rear view mirror. U got try to do that?

When you use the original headlight controller, now it is "auto" by default when your switch is in the "off" position? Otherwise how do u turn it to "auto" since we dont have the "auto" selection available in our controller.  And how do you turn it off?

I later bought the 1 without the LHD controller.. quite cheap ard SGD60 I think

Thanks..

All the items mentioned are online.  Taobao, aliexpress, ebay, gmarket and K-tuning. Some may not ship to SG so u need to find other solutions. Some of the items are meant for Cruze, esp those from taobao.

The result is... phenomenon.

With and without RC... the difference is quite significant. We can meet and I let you try. haha.

No point hiding the light sensor in the box behind the rear view mirror as that part of the glass has a black film covering it.  I placed my sensor beside the box but close to the roof lining such that it is still hidden and cannot be seen unless when you are standing outside the car looking in.

On our original controller without the "auto" selection, we just need to switch from "off" to "small light" then "off" again to turn off the automatic headlights function.  Repeat this same step to turn back to automatic again.

Have you got a picture or a link for us to see what your console box looks like?

I saw this wooden console box for the Orlando in Gmarket but didn't like it compared to the leather armrest console I got from Aliexpress:  http://item2.gmarket.co.kr/English/detailview/item.aspx?goodscode=733374151

Yup a meetup would be nice. Problem is many mpv owners are family men. hehe

Sure can. I think there are probably more options for Cruze than orlando where mods are concerned. In the official Racechip site there is no 1.4T orlando.. Not sure if the Singapore dealer is using a newly available file specific for orlando, or just getting from Zafira or Cruze or some standard config..

Hi Guys,

Let me shared my experience based on over 2 months of driving with using OBD 2. I would say jerking improved and smoother. But I am not seeing much FC improvement.

I am using SPC 95 always. SE suggest to use Esso 98 or Shell V-Power to improve jerking. So I tried Esso 98 and definitely less Jerking and FC improved too. After adding OBD 2 chip, jerking is not a problem any more on all type of fuel.

Next, I increase tyre pressure from 230 to 240 and then 250. Now I can see much improvement on both FC and slow pick up after red light. Then I switch back to SPC 95 and can feel slower pick up.

Based on the trial result, I can conclude that 1.4T engine need higher grade fuel to work better, OBD 2 chip can take care of Jerking issue but not so much on FC. Again this is my opinion only. Feel free to add in your experience.

Agreed.

I was never really bothered by the slight jerking at the lower gears previously (maybe due to lack of power) but with the OBD II chip, I confirm that the ride is certainly more comfortable and smoother, plus more obvious power gains.

No diff for FC is true, even when I am using Shell 95.

Hi guys,

Would like to ask if it is difficult to get Orlando spare parts in sg? Really liked this car when I went to view and test drive, but I am worried that the spare parts will be scarce and difficult to find in a few years down the road, as this car is not really common. If it is, guess I have no choice to consider Wish / Carens instead.

Thank you in advance for your comments / insights:)

There are a couple of stockists around Veerasamy Road carrying Chevrolet spare parts so it should not be too difficult getting the spare parts.  I have been to one of them and found that they are linked to the AD because they can find your Chevrolet model in their computers via your license plate number to find the correct spare part number you need.

Even Alpine Motors themselves sell spares although they could be more expensive.
