Cos I'm monitoring its price very closely, targetting to buy in mid August. Hi, This weekend they are giving away petrol voucher worth $3k. I brought at $123,999. No other freebie. Comes with 5 years warranty. Have you seen other MPV? U can compare first and decide later since you are getting it in Mid August. Have a nice weekend. Cheers! TideChas3r 1st Gear July 18, 2015 Share July 18, 2015 ...and a more powerful engine... and ridiculous spacious boot. This may come as a surprise to you but the Camry has better legroom, extremely comfortable back seats and longer wheelbase for sure. It is just lower in height. Maverick713 1st Gear July 20, 2015 Share July 20, 2015 (edited) Hi, Thanks for sharing. I have just booked a red colour Orlando today. What accessories you bought? Can share? Actually I try to look for "floor mat" for Orlando in TaoBao, but unable to as I think China does not have this model. Thanks Tan Taobao or any China online shopping sites do not have a lot of accessories for the Orlando. However, many accessories made for the Cruze fits exactly in the Orlando as they are sharing the same platform so you should search for accessories for the Cruze. When I got my new Orlando LS, although better equipped than the previous version of the LS, I wanted to narrow its few shortcomings versus the better-equipped Orlando LT which is no longer sold by Alpine. Compared to the LT, the current LS is missing things such as the automatic headlights, leather steering wheels, sunglasses case and of course the sun roof. From Aliexpress I got mainly items such as a steering wheel leather-stitched wrap, automatic headlights kit and a sunglasses flip case at the driver-side pull handle location. I also got a leather centre armrest console box because my front passengers complained that there is no place to rest their arms unlike in my previous rides. From eBay, I also got an original GM-made Orlando front and rear mud guards to enhance the "crossover SUV" look. Bank interest rate is 2.28% Definitely a good sign! Sometimes if you buy near the month end, they may offer you an open cat COE for immediate registration if they have unused Cat E certificates, at no extra cost. I got such as deal. Just ask and you may be surprised.

Kuanhui 1st Gear July 21, 2015 Share July 21, 2015 So much hate on this car @ Link LoL... ??? I thought you just collected your car? Whats wrong with it? Acosean 1st Gear July 21, 2015 Share July 21, 2015 Yesterday i saw a velvet red orlando parked next to a black cefiro at Eunos MRT. The cefiro was so dwarfed by it that at first i thought it was a sunny! Don't tell me the orlando is both wider and taller than it?
kmttan 4th Gear July 21, 2015 Share July 21, 2015 So much hate on this car @ Link LoL... This article compares Orlando with Dodge Grand caravan, which is a much larger MPV and cost $500 more in Canada. It does not just kill Orlando, but also Mazda 5 in that distant country. In Singapore, Dodge Grand caravan, aka Chrysler voyager, can buy 2 Orlando.
TideChas3r 1st Gear July 21, 2015 Share July 21, 2015 (edited) bro Kuanhui, nothing wrong... like bro PATRTAN said, the orlando really hasn't let me down. In fact it has been quite helpful & functional in many areas in day to day get arounds.Having said that... was just sharing the article, and was trying to point out that some of the critiques were quite constructive and GM may have already taken note to further evolve its existing line-up. (apologies for my lack of elaboration)It will certainly be interesting to see what succeeds the Orlando... but whatever it may be, if Chevy evolves like how the other korean brands such as Kia does, it can only be a good thing for Chevy die-hards and/or newcomers like us... look for instance VW and Germans strive for a so-called perfection... but in actually far from perfect in reliability with the DSG in hindsight. (despite numerous feedbacks; the problem persists) in fact...Every make has their own unique flaw(s)... e.g.Peugeot - ETG BMW - shift-shock Subaru - lacks FC(list could go on) but imo... 2015 Chevy Orlando could really use some leather-wrapped steering wheels even though it's the LS that was sold. Leather wrapping adds value to brand-building in the long-run. It's can only be goodwill and positive strategy to constantly improve their products, for a conglomerate that's trying to make a come-back...2cts. ??? I thought you just collected your car? TideChas3r 1st Gear July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 bro Acosean... your predictions are closing in... Cat B came down another 7k this round bid... Maverick713 1st Gear July 22, 2015 Share July 22, 2015 This article compares Orlando with Dodge Grand caravan, which is a much larger MPV and cost $500 more in Canada. It does not just kill Orlando, but also Mazda 5 in that distant country. In Singapore, Dodge Grand caravan, aka Chrysler voyager, can buy 2 Orlando. So it is just a matter of hard economics. If given the same small pricing gaps for both cars in Singapore, I am sure I would get the bigger Dodge Grand Caravan MPV for a handful more peanuts. Talking of Canada, my immediate neighbour is an expatriate from Canada. When he first saw my new Orlando, he just went "Wow .... that's a very nice car !!", not once but twice and I can tell he was sincere in his compliments. This shows that the Orlando might be well appreciated in the Canadian heartlands only if the price is right. ↡ Advertisement
