if one has a licensed dog with AVA and is a HDB permitted breed but the dog is a baker and a nuisance to the neighbor.

does AVA or HDB got the right to remove the dog?

just curious.

if they still can remove the dog, than y buy a HDB permitted breed at the first place? might as well risk and buy a non HDB approved one...

As long as the dog has become a nuisance, AVA/HDB can do something to have the dog removed from the flat. But usually, there will be many rounds of warning, fines, etc...before they will do it. I hope the current reviews will make all new dogs/'problem' dog and their owners go for training. IT will be beneficial to the dog, the owner and the people they meet or lived next to. Too many dogs and their owners are not trained.

I feel all potential dog owner should really know about the breed they are looking at before buying. A lot of smaller breed barks a lot by nature and some, even tho they are small, need a lot of exercise otherwise they may destroy the flat. Some abandon their dogs because of these 'problems' which is either a characteristic of the breed or require specific training to curb it.

untrue. not all big dogs are unsuitable for apartments, and not all small dogs are suitable. lots of small approved dogs are actually not suited for confirmed HDB spaces imo

I totally agree with you on this. In any case, most dogs, large or small, need to go for walks and attention to keep them sane. Keeping a small gog in the house all the time will turn them nuts.
