I'm not sure if you're averse to MIV KU31, but I've got 215/45/17 for my dad at $100/pc from Hiap Hong & Co. (1210 Upper Thomson Road). They are clearing out stock before they move out to Tagore.

How much does MIK KU31 with 205/55/16 costs? Looking at 4pcs.

I want to trade in my current 2pcs of Silverstone V7 also. Mileage less than 1500km.

Around $105....miv...

Thanks for your info! Where can i get at this price?

Is there a difference between MIK and MIV model in terms of reliability and performance?

I did not note difference between the MIV and the MIK ones, value for money. On my 3rd set of KU31 between 3 rides. Wet grip is good. You should be able to get 205/55/16 at 110 each from Guan Lee. The boss, Mr Tay, is service oriented.

Actually, I am looking at trying other tyres currently, and looking at parting my 205/55/16 cheaply. They have been running for about 8,500km, and the threads are approx. 85%. No hard sell, let me know if you are keen to try KU31 at a nominal price.

Pls PM me your price. Your tires are MIK or MIV? Any puncture?

Im planning to change rim n tyre (16"). current one I think is a K415 which has proven to be lousy during wet...skid a few times even though less than 1 yr... Budget say around...1.2K-1.5k any good recommendation out there?

1.2K budget should be able to fetch you some good deals if you are going for 16. K415 is a comfort based tyre, and I think it is made in China these days. I would not recommend MIC tyres, as I had folks around me whining away the situation that you said above with MIC tyres.

Try scouting around, and if possible try asking for a trade-in of existing set. The marketplace's a good start. Cheers
