About 2 months ago. Have driven around 800km so far on it. Other FD owners I know of are running on Kumhos too and they find them to be very durable too.

I'm not sure why the tires you guys bought are made in China.. My tires are made in Korea as printed on the rubber.

Maybe it's the different size? I'm running on Kumho KU31 215/40R18 (Front) and 255/35R18 (Rear).

Bought the ku31..205/50/16 last week .....online...made in china

KU31 should be made in Viet. China is Kumho KH31.

For me,

KU31 -> Hankook V8RS -> KU31.

There is a reason why many people keeps going back to KU31, really value for money / big bang for bucks !

why? Kumho KU31 is a durable tyre, i do not see any problem why fd cannot use kumho. my bro's fd is also using kumho. no issue with the tyres.

what's a reasonable price for Kumho KU31 now?

does it only have a single type of profile to choose from?

am thinking of changing from K415 to KU 31 for my latio which is still on stock 15 inch rim.

And which tyre shop will you recommend?

many thanks

Don't think KU31 has sizes available for your stock rim. Unless you upsize the rims to 16" or 17"

If you stick to 15" you can consider KU37 or KH31.

My few months old k415 always make screeching sound when I make big turn and it's louder when in mscp . Probably soft rubber?

I have not used KH31 before so I am not able to provide much comments on its grip.

Out of the 2 tyres I went for KU37 because of 2 reasons - it was about $10 cheaper per pc for the size you mentioned....and KU belongs to the Ultra High Performance series from Kumho...KH is the High Performance series. So to me it was an easy choice.
