Good-Carbuyer 1st Gear September 6, 2011 Share September 6, 2011 No worries I am sure you are doing well as you sound like a smart person unlike somebody chuckie... I believe it would better to retire when you can still work, then the doctor said: 'sorry, you are no longer fit enough to work, must retire immediately'. So need to prepare 2nd income to live happily ever after. So profitable investment for 2nd income/passive income very serious commitment. Especially for no degree-holder

Bfmstg Clutched September 6, 2011 Share September 6, 2011 Quite a good idea, but maybe need a mpv or a six or seven seater or a mini van if you are thinking of transportation servce, I suppose it is legal to charge for such a service without registering a business? or get a mini bus? all you need to do is be the driver then... just to share, "chaffuer" service has to be a registered company to provide the drivers and vehicles chartered transportation service. the vehicles must registered under company, insurance will be different from personal used, which will be higher. if a new company want to purchase vehicle, bank loans for getting new vehicles is hard to get for newly set up company. so end up either buy cash or "others" way. Thanks for the info, I suppose the person who suggested this idea means doing it on a freelance basis when he is free? perhaps a few days per month to earn extra cash of a few hundred? in this case, does he still need to register a company? I am still working full time until current project contract matures. Then DCI can be main/passive income and I may still do abandoned projects in between instead (the reverse of your plan)
