Minor knock by Grey Golf, need advises

Want to see fellow MCFers advise.

This morning was at a junction going straight, car stopped.

The car behind me (Grey coloured Golf) wanna squeeze out of his lane to turn right.

Some car horn him, so he half car out of lane while waiting for traffic to clear.

Then when he finally turned, "bang".. his side mirror hit my side.

Although only some minor scratches, but he just speed off.

What should i do? just let it be? i got his car plate.

Report to your Insurance if you want to claim or else forget about it as too hassle to do so,

i would suggest you to move on and i believe that the damage will not cost any unless you wanna go for a respray on the minor scratches.

if you really want to make claim, you should have chase that fellow and stop him on the spot.

Even if you made a police report for a hit and run, pay to search for his address and know at his door or ask lawyer to send him letter,

very certain that Golf driver will and have to deny.

 

For me, I will treat it as another bad day, polish away the mark and move on.

if u got time & want an experience give it a try do something on this , report polis or claim ur dmg from insur ,or u can put the plate no here so all can help u keep out for the car in case u want to settle private

Well, if i were you, i wouldn't bother reporting to police or trying to make him responsible for the damage.

 

It is just a minor scratch. I'd just buy a touch-up paint to fix it or have it resprayed for less than a hundred bucks (even cheaper if you do in Jaybee).

 

It's gonna take you at least a week to go through all the procedures and the outcome might not be in your favor. You'd better spend the time you're gonna waste in pursuing this case to try to make a hundred bucks to repair the damage.
