Those starlet, corolla, corona, presea, sunny, civic, NX coupe, Nissan 200SX, mx5, Merc W124 etc. Glad they are gone from Singapore roads, a good 20yrs presence.

Does it mean Coe price is going down?? I personally doubt so. :(

LTA did re-aligned their quota calculation that is quota for each 6months based on past 6 months dereg numbers. Only LTA can provide what's the number could be in the 1 to 2K cars for those cars with 8/2011 COE expiry

My mechanic friend ask me want to renew a Toyota Sera, selling me the body at $6K externally, looks unique, but when I sit inside, really felt retro like I am back to 1990s when I was doing my Uni. If include PQP that's a good $56K for another 10yrs on the road. Better get it export maybe to Melbourne, world most liveable city. Remember, many years ago, I got this Aussie colleague who migrated to Aus from Malaysia but was in Singapore doing some work, he told me he managed to buy a classic BMW 2002Ti cheap and export it to Sydney before he go back to Ausland, to be kept in his garage for his children and grand children

I still prefer the 1990s minimalist interior. Don't need all the sound proofing and crap things which only adds weight. Airbags not needed as well. ABS also extra.

All I need is light weight.

wow cant believe it , ten years went by so quickly.

I remember 10 yrs ago, i left the country and sold my civic hatch, and the delaer immediately renewed COE to sell for higher.

If I didnt leave the country i would also have renewed the COE.

wow cant believe it ten years gone.....

Yeah, in 1992, the Civic ESI, VTi, every boy racer wants to get hold of it. You have progress along the way along from your S40.... E60, 6Ser, CLS and.. what next ;-)

You mean to say the first COE scheme started in August 1991?

Wow twenty years of COE....has it done good or bad for Singapore and for it's citizens?
