I am thinking of trading in my Rolex GMT Master 2 for a Omega SeaMaster Planet Ocean, is this a downgrade or a good choice?

GMT2C retains value much much better than Omega Planet Ocean.

But i Planet Ocean has much better presence on the wrist. If buying to keep, no need to consider resale value

Yup guys like you say the planet ocean is chio, it's like choosing that chio ah lian over an average looking smart girl, don't know which to choose, I am buying to wear but if it can appreciate in value would be a bonus

how abt trading your Rolex GMT Master 2 for a Rolex Sea Dweller DeepSea instead?

http://precisiontime.blogspot.com/2008/04/...er-deepsea.html

to me, Ocean Planet < GMT M2 < DeepSea

but if value retention aside, I'll pick the Ocean Planet anytime :)

Wow if I trade in my gmt2 non c for the deep sea how much you think I need to top up 2nd hand to 2nd hand?

my fren just bought an AP, not sure the model orange colour one... 25000 at Aioport, retail price 32000, someone offered him 28000.....seems like selling watches more profitable than stocks...

Not good enough, since there are tons of stockist pics out there. Post pics of watch worn on hand with "Satisfied, MCF?" in magic marker scrawled next to it. That would be convincing. [laugh]
