Actually I've ordered a Range Rover Sports Supercharged last May 2011, was told delivery in late Aug/ early Sep but arrived early Aug & i had to rush like hell for the Insurance

for it to be registered.

Been asking for the Evoque also since May, the Sales Rep keeps telling me that i'll be notified once car is here & was notified last Fri that it'll be in showroom on Sat, however

was told that there'll be NO Test Drives! Was shocked to see car having long Q's of ppl waiting for test drive & confronted Sales Rep, basically am pissed that the level of svs

are severely lacking for such up market brand whose car are damn expensive. Best part, sales rep knows that i've intention to purchase the evoque for my wife.

LR had always been a sleeper brand in here,so this evoque phenomenon and the current high coe here seems to caught them by surprise.

With all these exitement over the launch, I cant help but previous experience with the older generation Discovery, had continued to cast shadows over the reliabilty, high maintenance and after sales svc.

frequent break down, not many wksp can handle it, and usually over priced bills for simple repairs.

But I must admit, the plus points are the quality ride experience and handling.

Actually i've bought/changed quite a few cars hence i believe it's not the company, more of the sales rep.

225k...nice but out of my affordability.... [shakehead] [shakehead]

Actually never say never cos back in 99', i freaking can't afford a bowl of S$2.50 noodles & have to cheat SBS by paying lesser than what i should as i can't

afford the bus fare.

I agree with you wholeheartely, most if not all pre 2010 trucks made by LR are crappy at best. However the 2010 onwards Trucks (regardless of models) are proving damn good= good reliability.

As for Servicing/ Repairs/ Parts, am kinda used to five figues bills fm my last couple of rides hence it's not my ultimate concern
