Late sms delivery

i am with singtel ....

 

this morning, i got a slew of 10 sms at abt 10am all at one go !!

 

and the first sms dated back to 25Aug 10:23am !! .... no wonder i did not get the sms for a project-briefing on friday afternoon...

 

anyone else had the same problem ?

I had problems with singtel sms for some time now.

Every now and then, late or missing delivery.

 

Except for the debt collector, sms always come on time. :angry:

one of the seller from here reply me exactly 7 days later

when i inform him that i sms him last week

he swore that he just receive the sms

 

but i believe him

cause i set my sms setting to alert me whenever a sms is receive by the other party

and the alert came in just before he reply

Probably it was stuck at the queue for the sms server, and was manually cleared by the engineered when they discovered it, and hence you get everything at 1 go.

do you all think we can have a case against Singtel ?

 

last thursday morning, my clerk tried to call me via office phone, but i did not get the call also ... cud it be some intermittent issue with their network or equipment ?

 

yesterday, my staff also called me at home ... i called back, but this morning's sms alert from ST had a missed call from my staff at the same time !

Same old problem, we are in the same boat, called them and service provider says enter, '1' for english, '2' for mandarin, sucks big time . . . Main reason they gave was, We're installing a new server, hence the delay, but t has been more than 3-4 months ago, it's still exist, regardless iphone or not. I have given up calling countless time.

 

Try calling Singtel does not comes with face-to-face operator answering your call, it has deleted 'O' perator.

 

Any bright idea?

ST will only respond with service recovery action if many people complain at one go ... but it does give some leverage if it gets printed in the media.

I remb reading somewhere that if mobile service provider has a downtime rate above a certain percentage, they will be fined. Maybe contacting IDA might be a good idea?
