Totally agree mate. 2 meters is ALOT of space lor! More than enough cut out to the right lane and overtake them back. TS ego burnt because a cheaper, less prestigious car cut his lane...that's all. -_-

you are right. I was feeling pissed partly. Due to the nonchalant attitude of kids in cheap car.

Recently I was driving as usual on a 60kmph road in the middle lane. All of a sudden a black Hyundai Matrix with a P-Plate swerve and filter from the right into my path barely 2 meters from my front bumper. I had to brake to prevent hitting the Matrix. There were no signs of apology and the Matrix drove in a brazen way.

Hence I decided to take a look and filtered right and paced the car. It was a teenage girl apparently unaware of her deed continuing to chat with a male passenger happily. As she was not too attractive I didn't take a longer look and decided to filter in front of her.

I gave her about half car length with signal lights, I think she felt belittled as my car was incidentally more than double her car both in price and performance, she quickly filtered left. So i follow suite and since we were both were at about 80kmph, i decided to quickly follow the speed limit and kept at 55kmph.. for some distance toward a traffic light. While doing so, i looked at the rear view mirror.

The teenage girl made some signs and hand gestures which I do not understand. She show a hand sign as if filtering, followed by a "so what" gesture.

I didn't respond but kept looking. At that point we were stationary at the red lights.

I kept looking...

I think they couldn't take it anymore and got annoyed.

The male passenger show his middle finger.

I saw a immediate reaction from the teenage girl as if trying to push away his hand...

then they started to smile and laugh.

As I am a Methodist, I have a cross at my rear windshield.

The male passenger and the female started to make sort of a "Praying" hand gesture and jeering at the same time.

I kept my calm.

So when the lights turned green, I drove on and as they passed me on the left I showed them a $50 note and make a gesture that says "you do not have money".

Through some means I have identified the duo and their residence.

If you were in my shoes what would you have done?

Flashing money as a gesture? Do you have class? Not to mention you are flashing money to kids. Sorry, but i disagree with your actions. You stoop to their level so in this case you are equally wrong as them.

You change lane to keep up with her and upon seeing that she's not pretty filtered into her lane. Teenager filter lane and you followed too and eventually slowed down to the lights . And after being poked fun on your religion, you wave a $50 dollar note at them . . . IMHO, you might have thought you are teaching the teenager a thing or two about life by doing all these senseless act but in reality none is taught. All you got was a 'snobbish religious' old man tag from them I supposed.

Well said bro.

After all, why bothered with these kids who drive a 'lesser' car den TS. TS A7 is definitely better den their matrix n therefore ders nothing for TS to prove. Flipping the $$ doesn't mean someone is better off den the other. Any Tom Dick n Harry can flash that. Perhaps next time TS shud ignore those brats unless u feel intimidated dat a fugly girl in a matrix overtake u.

Stay chill as ders other better things to worry abt in SG.

TS, you should've have bothered with them. waste time and energy and emotion only.

Btw, are you doing 60kmh on a normal road or on the highway? If it is 60kmh on highway lane 2, you should've be in lane 3.....
