Just a quick feedback. I just changed my front tires.

Observed the following

1. Told me that I had a nail in one rear tire. Asked if wanted an internal $15 or external patch$6. And said both are the same. I commented that it's different and an internal patch is more durable and robust. He still insisted that they are the same and the only difference is that for the external patch you can see the end of the "sticky worm" whereas for the internal patch, it cannot be seen.

 

I think more training is needed to ensure that the correct knowledge is conveyed to the customer. There is a huge difference between an internal and external patch.

 

2. While patching the tire, the rim was left on the tire changing machine. He then placed another rim with tire on it to.pump air. I told him that he should not do it as the top rim with tire can scratch the bottom rim on the tyre changing machine. He then insisted it will not happen as the tire mounted on one rim. I disagreed saying that there was contact and the only way the rims will not hit is, if both are mounted with tires.

 

I do hope that better care will be taken in the future.

 

But overall I am still quite pleased with the service bar the 2 incidents above which was done by the same person. I will continue to patronize.

Renault Clio (red). I was the only car there besides a black BMW 7 series which came to do a puncture repair.

Tires used were Firestone. 185/60R15.
