It's almost time for me to change tyres... Can't really decide among the 4, what's your recommendation?

I need good wet holding and if possible, not too noisy..

 

I'm running on 235/40/ R18

My 1st choice go to PS3.

CSC3 should be slightly cheaper since it is old model already. If price not a concern for you, then go for CSC5.

i called up a tyre shop who quoted me lower for csc3 over the ps3.

I will go for PS3. CSC3 will be more comfortable than PS3 but I heard from a friend who is using P-zero that it is even more comfy than CSC3 & CSC5

225/40/R18 was around $300 +/-. PI version can be had for around $280

It depends on whether you like hard or soft sidewall.

 

CSC is the lightest and softest. PS3 is next, followed by Pirelli.

 

Kumho, you sure you want to try this tyre?

Initial grip is ok, but thereafter the grip goes downhill. If you feel the tyre construction of other tyres vs this, you can immediately feel the difference in construction strength.

oh boy,it's just like taking any lowest end german car vs a top end korean car.

and the result is still the same.any cheapest german car is still better than a top end korean car.

My previous tyre is the Pirelli P Zero Rosso, and my dad's car is on csc3.

If you want to a sporty tyre, the pirelli tyre is better in both wet and dry grip compared to the csc3.

Pirelli have a very stiff tyre wall, and the turn is very precise and sharp. Csc3 is not as harsh or noisy as compared to the pirelli.

 

 

I am using bridgestone Re001 now ...
