As above. I bought some engine oil, (Amsoil) with intention to use in my next oil change. But a good packaged offer came along which I took it. I suppose I can keep it for the next oil change but is there any expiry date?

I keep unopened bottle of EO >1 year also no prob.

Opened upto 1 year also can.

If the oil does absorb moisture, the moisture wil b burned off when the EO gets hot in the engine.

I heard pple keep unopened EO 5 years also.

Anyway EO is very tough stuff. It sud not "spoil" so easily.

Official reply from Oil Companies is between 3-5 years under optimum conditions (ie, not under sun and room temperature). JUST NOTE: 3-5 years is from date of manufacture not the day you buy it. That's why some workshops and shops sells oil at a discount at times.
