was thinking gramlights. So hard to find rims. go autobacs stanford also dun have the designs i want. got the design dun have the colour got design and colour, PCD/offset/inch wrong.

 

Anyone got suggestions where to shop for rims other than these 2 automart giants?

i got a quote from Autobacs Bukit Batok for gramlights & TE47,

 

they dont have any on hand, had to import from japan,

 

so prob cheaper if you did it yourself

bronze rims will look nice on white car. Dark and shiny will also be good.

So far, I think only FD2R can pull off white painted rims on white car, maybe because it's 18" rims on low profile tyres?

 

In my opinion/ personal taste,

 

1) Small white cars should stick with stock rims.

 

2) Mid sized sedans and luxury sedans can try matt black with some machined aluminum spokes.

 

3) Large white cars/ SUVs would look nice in 19" matt gun metal rims

 

I would personally avoid gold rims, black glossy rims and chrome rims.

nice. how often you wash your white rims. are those 17s 40 profile tyres? How much for the set with tyres?

 

My budget is less than 2k for tyres/rims

2k for rims+tyres. Thinking second hand rims if i go japanese. Doubt i can find nice jap rims on my measely budget.
