This is a local site that offers to buy things from China like taobao among others. It caught my attention because taobao has alot to offers at very cheap price but not know of means to do it as normally the site require a china "local" address and payment also a hassle.

 

Then my colleague recommended this to me. Basically you just need to send the picture of desired items from vendor websites to them, atm the money (local accounts), then make second payment on shipment charges when the items are delivered. Easy right? He used the service a few times and is quite happy with it.

 

Now, anybody has used it before?

u believe i taught them and meetup 2 of their partners and how to improve one? [laugh]

 

aiya u can also buy from taobao ur own and even cheaper la.. [laugh]

 

get from GS,even faster and cheaper ^_^

So can teach how to pay the sellers on Taobao online since you said it is cheaper? Also, shipment ia by volumetric weight? Possible to enquire the seller to check the packaging dimension? Scared a big carton box is used for a small item, thereby having to pay more for transport than the goods itself. And will they do consolidating of items from same seller into a single package for shipment to save shipment costs?

 

And what is GS btw?

Yes, I use once 2 months back. Fast and not expensive, seems it's a reliable place to buy thing from Mainland China.

That is great! Can share the shipment costs you paid? Relative to the items you got?

Dun worry about seller intending to cheat by having a big box for small items. Seller n shipper are usually 2 different entities

 

You should be worried your agent anyhow charge u instead

 

Volumetric or actual weight taken is dependent of parcel, which ever is higher.

 

Depending on what u buy, it may or may not be consolidated... The thing is it has to be able to packed together

 

Shipment also have 2 types depending what u buy... Not everything can go by normal air route

 

It is possible for cost of shipping to be more ex than cost of items due to the simple fact that the items are cheap

 

No we can't estimate the cost of shipping till all items are packed by our shipper

 

I am advising u as a fellow forumer thus will not provide my website to you lest I be accused of advertising.

Take note, my advise is based on how I work.... It may or may not stand true for other agents

 

Hi GS,

 

how about import gst? you will help customer to clear gst first as well then re-invoice? thru proforma invoice? if you know wat i mean.
