Neighborhood primary school

How do we define neighborhood school (primary). ?

Are all non-SAP schools considered neighborhood? In that case alot fall into neighborhood schools!

Or based on PSLE results?

Or based on location? (located at HDB area considered neighborhood ?)

Or based on the naming? (Chinese name means neighborhood ?)

All schools in singapore are near homes and within a neighborhood.

I said not sure. Then she said her daughter got into RGPS and that's not a nb school and say mine SGPS considered!

A non neighborhood school is a school located in the middle of nowhere (not habitat by Man) by e.g. zoo, Bird Park, Sentosa, St John island, Kusu Island etc.

A neighbourhood school is a school surrounded by HDB flats.

Example: Catholic High is a neighbourhood school. Tau Nan too...

Non-neigborhood schools location is so ulu that it require luxury cars to send them,,

 

Neigborhood school conveniently located, can take public transport.

Basically the perception of neighborhood school is when the school is of less popular, even if the school is popular only in the particular zone or estate. When a school is very popular and highly sought after by parents from all over the island, it will be deem as special and prestige, even if the school is located in normal neighborhood estate. Example like Nanyang, Tao Nan, Ai Tong, Catholic, ACS(i).

I went to NB school, my girl in NB school now, I drive Merc & stay in condo... all thanks to my teachers in NB school.
