Predict it will crash..if not drop alot.

Demand is slow but the weak market.

Who would feel like buying a car after losing few thousand on the stock market?

VW has been very aggressive with their adverts... and judging by the flock at the VW showroom, I'm guessing some of the ADs will be replenishing their cache of CoEs.

Plus, America is borrowing again, so I'm predicting up at least for this round on all categories, with a chance of it actually crossing 52k on Cat A.

I liquidated all my holdings well before the market volatility, still feeling sour did not buy in last week low, would have made at least $10K within a day or 2 for the counter that I am aiming at.

COE crash ? No way, be glad if it drop 10% to 20% for CAT A, else will be status quo. Not commenting on CAT B, the rich are not affected by it, even a school teacher friend of mine bought a brand new 5 series with pay check I guess around $8K at most, really living on margin, no parents $ liability, his thought was want to buy condo, so expensive, suck thumb had to squeeze in his HDB pigeon hole, hence get a brand new 5 series to hao lian to his neighbors, colleagues, relatives and friends. No wonder BMW F10 top sales model in 2011, Singaporeans really willing to spent on cars.

During the stock mkt crash, my friend juz get 2 units of condo, buy a new audi for his son..... The rich dun feel anything one la. My client lost 8 million in MBS, life still go on for him. The rich ppl in spore dun really care one, they can earn back as soon as they lost it.

after August first bidding, believe many dealer took the chance to do some "promo" and buyers fall into it before last week market mini crash. IMO, there should be a quite a number of bookings awaiting COE

i also wish it will crash although like i've said its juz wishful thinking... There is juz too little COE to go ard for taxi coys n rich ppl, so most prob COE will maintain
