Happily1986 5th Gear August 12, 2011 Share August 12, 2011 1400hrs: Took Lentor entrance into SLE(CTE). Rightlane was cordoned off by EMAS recovery truck and subsequently by half a dozen reflective safety cones. Visual ID of vehicle not confirmed. Peripheral vision and OC's verbal account noted 2~3x TP riders and a single badly crumpled up subcompact hatchback. Possibly Suzuki Swift or Perodua Kenari. No other damaged vehicles spotted. i heaved a sigh of relief as OC couldn't help but gasp that the crumpled wreck was horrifying. No police tent, thats all that matters. 1420hrs: Sent OC back home and on Yishun exit from SLE(BKE). Spotted a hurried Avante patrol car with strobe lights flashing, travelling from Yishun (possibly Yishun South NPC) ascending the SLE(CTE ramp) My heart sank. Gut feel told me that Avante was delivering police tent. God bless that poor soul. Guys please drive safely. ↡ Advertisement

Expertz 1st Gear August 14, 2011 Share August 14, 2011 ............... 'singaporeans are really poor drivers' you speak through your ass or you simply got no fcuking brains... comparing against many other countries, we really are very lousy drivers overseas where the speed limits are higher and people travel further, they don't have as many accidents as we do despite traveling at the designated speed limit, we still have numerous accidents on a daily basis i using my fcuking brains and speaking thru my mouth, personally can't come to the conclusion that we are good drivers by any means

SimonTan 2nd Gear August 15, 2011 Share August 15, 2011 One third of people in Singapore are foreigners. I would expect many FT are able to earn more and proportionally more will drive. Also many lorries, bus and delivery truck are driven by foreigners. So the road accidents are not only due to poor Singapore drivers. Last night SinMing papers report one Malaysian car, parked blocking Singapore cars. The driver went for breakfast. The other drivers horn for one hour, still no one come. Make police report and call carpark attendent. Drive still never come back. The best answer by the driver when he finally showed up...." I put my number on the windscreen, why you never call me" Singaporeans are really loser...being bullied left right center. ↡ Advertisement
