Hussaini20 3rd Gear August 12, 2011 Share August 12, 2011 Sorry to hear abt your car... Waxing doesnt help to cover your scratches. temporarily cover with a masking tape to mask out the scratch to hide the f word la. if the scratch isnt deep, can cover with cf sticker. I'll pm u a number can give him a call. if the scratch is deep, no choice have to repaint the whole boot and not a small part. at least the 2 tone effect not so bad. SimonTan 2nd Gear August 12, 2011 Share August 12, 2011 The joker will get more pleasure when he see you polish or repainter it. I say just leave it for while....aim your camera at the angle....place a white piece of paper at the word area "cursed your whole family to hell, hope you die in the 7th month, etc" You want to catch the farker who wrote this. Not to waste money to repaint it and worry that the joker may strike again. Most joker will not be able to resist the urge to scratch your car once more, if you direct your curse at them. Stratovarius Turbocharged August 12, 2011 Share August 12, 2011 Agree with Simon. No point doing a respray for now. Wait for a while and see how it goes. Who knows if he/she is a serial vandal. You can try to polish off if it's not too deep. As for reporting to police, you can do it but all they can do is to tell you they will patrol the area more often. That's it. Savagetosh Neutral Newbie August 12, 2011 Share August 12, 2011 I don't believe in cameras and stuff. I believe you should take your time off and observe your car from a point far away from your car. Observe suspicious characters and notice them. If you see anyone going close to your car and checking out the part which was vandalised, then it is most likely to be that person. However, if after 1-2weeks you don't see any suspicious character, it may be some no-life youngsters who roam around and scratch cars for "fun". Anyway about your scratch, if it's not too deep, you can use the "Turtle Wax scratch remover". Hope this helps!
