Guys, i need ur advise..

3 months ago i just change new tyres and it`s topped up with nitrogen gas. The shop say i can come top up anytime as long they r free to do so for me.

But the thing is they r always packed with ppl !

And if i just go n ask for a top up without buying anything seems a bit pai sai ( Shy ).

I dun mind paying a few bucks for it, but is it worth or is it a need to pay for it ?

So any bro/sis here have any suggestions for me ?

Thanks in adv [:)]

You can go to any tyre shop and do a tyre rotation, tyre balancing + refill of nitrogen .

For new tires first 5k rotate one time , following every 7k-10k rotate once for balanced wear and tear of tyres.

If there's any uneven wear and tear detected then maybe can go for wheel alignment.

Usually for nitrogen it won't leak as fast as oxygen. So usually I'll just do it once in a go. Don't need to keep pump nitrogen.

If its O2, i would go there every dayto breathe in.

if its free then go for the free option..go during off peak hours..although i'm on nitrogen..i go for it every week

If you have to go and pump up your tyres on a weekly basis, i suggest you check your valve for leak.

N2 is very stable and do not need constant top up.

in addition, normal air does not leak away but when it expand and cool down, it turn to moisture, thus tyre pressure will be affected.

there is no leak..its just that i will pass by and so i just pump since its foc

I think u can go breathe the O2 then ?

Extracted from a website "Oxygen leaks out of tires faster. Nitrogen maintains tire pressure longer than oxygen. The oxygen molecules in compressed air are smaller and leak out three to four times faster. NitroFill

I used to pump nitrogen for my tires because they are free from the tyre shops that I bought my tires.

Go there once a month.

But I realized that it can be quite a hassle and after a while I find it more convenient to go pump air at a nearby petrol kiosk at my own time and pace.

I usually pump 78% Nitrogen.... it's also free and I can do it myself any time I want right at my own carpark

Which car park? If near I may also want to go. Actually, apart from leak rate, is there any other difference between pumping Nitrogen and non-Nitro?

if they promise u the service dun feel paisei about it, u already pay for it when u buy their tyres. if its pack, its up to u can wait or not only

any way . if your tyres is 99% nit. u dun need go top up often, about2-3 months 1 time more then enough. ( assume that u didnt mix in normal air yourself ).
