If your wind screen is covered by insurance....then perhaps $80 to change a new windscreen is the best option.

Solve the issue once and for all.

Call up and check which workshop got ready windscreen stock,

Then just before reaching the shop, use a hammer to create a small crack.

Claim insurance....one day job.

Better than spending money on silicon blades, clay bar, polishing, etc.

Texas5: You can head down to Autobacs and ask their staff for advice. They have very fine sandpaper and windscreen solution to solve the juddering problem.

From my own experience, once RainX is applied, it needs to be re-applied repeatedly otherwise wiper juddering will occur. The other alternative is just bear with the juddering for a few more weeks until all traces of Rain-X on the glass is completely removed naturally.

Some say use a razor blade, or penknife blade to scrape the windscreen to remove the road grime.

It works for some.....cheap solution.

Neutral Newbie

I used to have this problem as well, i used mama lemon with a new clean sponge to clean the windscreen and flush with clean water and repeated it 2 times. Take care not to spill the foams created on to paintwork. Went patrol station buy those cheapo window washer which cost $1+ and pour half into the reserve full with new water. Works well for me till now its not a problem anymore. [laugh]
