Usually shocks last 100k to 120k. Thus, it would be advisable to send your car to a workshop to check.

13177 Hypersonic August 3, 2011 Share August 3, 2011 The e-yok-e-yok description really funny. But i cannot differentiate between suspension spoilt, shocks spoit and spring spoilt? Wonder are they all the same or difference?

My car making e-yok-e-yok sound from the back when crossing a hump.. wonder is it suspension leaking oil.. cannot service one right? must change? My Honda Jazz mileage is about 135,000km. Unlike Partick133, my car not making any noise crossing a hump, or going over a bump. Instead, it's more bouncy, and causes me (and my passengers) to nauseate. Yup, even myself as the driver, sometimes I feel like vomitting while I drive. HA!! (Nope, I don't drift, nor do hard cornering, nor brakes and accelerate intermittently. Nope, I don't drive like a typical taxi driver.) So, I suspect that my shocks are gone. Still using the original shocks that came with the car 10 years ago. I'm the first owner, and I plan to renew COE. (Can't afford a new car. And won't be trading in for second hand, cos my car's condition is way much better than many in the dealers...) I'm looking to improve the COMFORT of my ride, make my car EAT bumps and humps, like a Mercedes Benz (even the E250 eats humps!). And I don't intend to lift the car up like some RUSH or monster truck. Any suggestions? And where are the workshops that's reliable? Thanks!
