Bro, there are so many brands in the market but guess it's a matter or performance, quality and pricing.

For performance, most will look into Brembo, AP, Endless,Wilwood etc . There is also a brand posted here known as Powerbrake, though have not seen or heard any bros here using but the writeout about the brakekit and specs seems a good stuff.

Anyway, good braking dun only concern calipers but also good tires.

Just my personal feel to share.... :D :D :D

Well, not exactly looking for performance but just something better than stock. SUV body heavy, when brake tends to drag a little hence looking to upgrade to something better. Hoping to get a pointer or two here. ^_^

Get a good set of brake pads. There are brands like VTTR, Bendix, Project Mu, Mintex etc.

The entire brake system and good tires brings your vehicle to a stop. However, brake pads and grippy tires make one of the biggest differences.

Change your brake fluid once a year or every 2 years.

Have enough tire pressure and maintain your rubbers in good condition.

Apart from that, the most important thing is drive safely. We don't own the roads. Be considerate to other road users.

mine is a pigkarp not suv but weight wise, it is about the same.

i think brake is not the issue, tyre is. because i noticed that the brake system is strong enough hold the tyres. question is: is the tyre strong enough to hold the entire car?

the only way is to get better quality tyres and wider tyres. you will suffer decrease in fuel efficiency if wider tyres are used. that is the trade off.

upsize rim, rim i can afford, tyre i cannot, got to stick to 16s, hahaha
