Thank you bro, I tried out your suggestion, and it does pick up abit faster, but I still lags behind during traffic light, maybe becos I am not very ambitious with revving beyond 2.5rpm. One thing I don't understand is sometimes I may have stepped on my accelerator too hard, and the gear didn't change, and the speed will remain constant, what should I do in this case?

Well, if such thing happens again as you step your accelerator too hard and the gear didnt change. Then you got to release your foot pressure on the accelerated and let the auto gear sort by itself before stepping it again. Stepping to hard instantly doesnt give your auto tranmisson time to upshift the desire speed you want.

Hence, its better when you start from a staionary, you need a good revv to 2.5/3rpm for the car to lift itself forward from a stop and then pause awhile then increased the pressure on the accelerated again and this time you will have auto gear sorted to lift itself to the next gear before the higher speed is achieved. Its more of a practice and feel then you will understand how to handle your ride better.

Well, it will be a common sight on the road very soon. just like its predecessor Avante. But in my area MSCP, I have not sighted any Elantra & I believe I'm still the only Elantra parking there. Have been approach few times by other couples and other car owners enquiry about my ride whenever I washed my car on the weekend morning.

I think I know what you mean. Isit each time when engine start, there is some chio mei mei or some chio bu walking direct infront of the car. From my understanding, I too got faint whistling sound whenever there is chio bu stroll past my car when the engine is running. And that whistling sound is coming from me. Hehe... [laugh]

If your ride do do whistling, then your must be extra ordinary breed of Tiko car. Haha... Wish my ride is like that, at least it can alert me on chio bu nearby. Haha

Me loh... as promised by the service personnel there will be no whistle sound anymore, but got sound in the next few days.. i went WTF.. [knife]

When start up, got this stupid aircon pulley sound.. only when you accelerate then it start.. if you inside, close the door, you wont hear it.

Plan to go Komoco AGAIN soon!
