No Vehicle Inspection, but can renew road tax online!

I think I have short term memory. All I know is I should have vehicle inspected, insurance renewed, then I go renew my road tax. This time round, I renewed my insurance, then I went on to onemotoring to renew my road tax. How come it can be renewed via onemotoring when I havent gone through my inspection?

 

So I should go for inspection tomorrow? Or I wait for them to tell me I renewed without vehicle inspection, and have to go get my car inspected?

how old is your car?

inspection is required when your car is 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and etc years old.

Insurance and Inspection centres submit results or infomation on-line to LTA, so no need hard copy results.

This year 4 yrs old.. I thought after the 3rd year is yearly inspection. Pardon my ignorance.. so it's 3rd yr, 5th yr and so on.. Then next year I will hv to but need not this year..

LTA system rarely fails. If you car is due for inspection and you haven't done so, there's no way you can renew your road tax. Yep, it has always been 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th year for inspection only.

They will always say, the onus is on YOU the car owner to ensure that the vehicle is inspected before road tax can be renew.
