Recruit: Yess SGT!!! actually SGT only pointed to the lamp post at the sea front of P Tekong facing mainland, but this guy saw salah and though SGT pointed at the mainland behind the tekong lamp post, so he jumped and started swimming.... sotong!! IMO, by default most of us go to opposite of heaven.... few here dare claim they have earned a place upstairs 50/50 is a suicidal case.... the other 50 includes many other possibilities why he swam... i knew of a recruit who (too foolhardy / defiant IMO) tried to prove he could go aginst certain SAF rules... just to prove that it can be done.... others thought he's suicidal, actually he saw himself as experimental... KARTer 2nd Gear July 13, 2011 Author Share July 13, 2011 he finally realise that maid are not allow to accompany for NS and there are no maid assign to individual recruit ha might thought maid is a standard issue item for every recruit.........only were to be given an ipad...where he realise that ipad cannot do manual work he also forgot to paste maid's picture in his SAF cupboard... missed the maid and her helping hands so much... This one only 3.8km (laugh). i just google and checked, walking distance between CHina and Spore is about 2700km, which will take about 600 hours of walking to cover. Lets say a person walks 15hrs a day, this will take him 40 days to complete the journey. Assume he jiak jua 30% of the time, he will take 57 days to walk from China to Spore... round it up to 60 days, ie 2 months.
