Kangadrool Supersonic July 11, 2011 Share July 11, 2011 Belt must change at recommended intervals. Chain dun need to change until piang, then change car.

LoverofCar 6th Gear July 11, 2011 Author Share July 11, 2011 But, nobody here will bother to change. They just change their cars. I won't even ask this question when the COE is <$20K..sigh..now never think of changing car liao...simply not worth it...so can only hope my car live a long life...haha
13177 Hypersonic July 11, 2011 Share July 11, 2011 Whether chain or belt, i think nobody will also bother to change. Since many people will change car before it is due for changing. But now COE so high, maybe many people would need to find out whether need to change or not?!

Think will have more incidents of belts/chains bursting reports from now on knowing that most people are very kiam when coming to these wear and tear items. Most preferred to zheng their rims and body works

Track 2nd Gear July 11, 2011 Share July 11, 2011 I am driving an Altis, it uses a timing chain. Was told it can do 300,000km before changing. Don't think will hit 300,000 km in 10 years. Like many sasid previously, probably change or dont drive already liao. ↡ Advertisement
