Sharp Plasmacluster Ion for cars.

Anyone tried this before? its freaking $199 for a car ioniser but i believe it sld work since its from Sharp and its expensive?

Using it in my car now;gift from friend @ house warming party .It's helpful to remove cigarette's smell but other than that,the part that claims on killing virus,gems etc not sure cos can't see lei.(Honest speaking,if ask me to but,I would rather use the $$$ to makan )

I am very keen to get one as well.

But targeting the newer battery operated model from sharp. Can charged by USB.

Can bring to car, toilet, storeroom, etc to remove the smell.

 

But like you say...it's very expensive.....undecided to get it or not.

This is the same as the Denso brand sold in Autobacs for $179. Heard from my colleague Mustafa selling this Sharp one for $179.

after awhile the area around becomes dirty

i dont think it is worth the money

it is more of a gimmick

if you are really serious about air-filtering

go for the real stuff

I think sharp OEM for Denso so its the same thing.

I am using it. Bought thru staff purchase at $130 thru a friend.

Its useful but it does occupy one cup holder permanently

I have used other brand of made in china/Taiwan ion stuff.. They always produce a funny smell which they term as smell of "ozone" which I think is crap. However these cheaper stuff does eleminate odor from cars too.. Ciggy smell, durian smell all can neutralize.

 

This sharp plasma cluster unit does not produce those funny ozone smell. Takes slightly longer to remove odour. But it's from Sharp so I will pyschologically trust it more. But seriously I think the air quality is better as it smells quite refresh, and smells better without the "ozone" funny smell. No regrets for me getting the unit so far.

This Plasmacluster technology that sharp is using is actually different from what normally those usual negative ion device works.As I know,charge negative ion attack on airbone dust to make them heavier + become non-airbone so you can see dust and dirt around the area over times but plasmacluster do this

There is no filter in those plasmacluster purifier.Only need to replace the "plasmacluster generator" once in every 3-5 yrs(Depends how you use)

The "ozone" smell that you are saying is the smell you get from negative ion generator but plasmacluster is an "Active Ion generator" :It produce charge postive and negative Ion therefore no smell.

go read articles on ozone effect on lungs, i spoke to air filtration specialist companies and they say that although the manufacturers claim amount of ozone is insufficient to do harm, but what if device malfunctions and produces more ozones and etc. anyway will you really want to take the risk ? the effects can be worse than smoking. they have taken some items on the market that produce ozone and found that many produced much more ozone than spec. ask yourself if this works why didnt the premium german marques have it in their cars

Pls lah..German cars doesnt have it in their car dent mean it doesn't work.. Lexus LS460 can have seats that have massage function, while BMW 740 have? So does it means massage seat no use and u will not enjoy seats that have massage function?

only UV lamps can kill air borne germs. if the unit don come with that, it doesnt kill air borne germs.
