what is our worth as NSmen? recently I received my Good Service Medal (5 years). However what saddened me was that, i received the medal through postage mailing. I was thinking what could have been happened that resulted in postage mailing? Is it because an NSF screwed up the job or was it the norm?

 

So do I conclude that our worth is only as good as postage mailed medal?

Your 10yrs medial might come from your email , self print out and paste where you want .

I already exceeded 5 years / ICT. Never recieved this Good Service Medal you speak of. Not even a chocolate medallion.

My 5-years was told to draw it from the store during reservist.

When I got it that time it was during one of my ICT. I was called to the office the S1 clerk took one from a trash bag full of medals and hand it to me.

 

Got pride or not? You are lucky you got it thru mail. I got it from the trash bag.
