I think he's right in some ways

If something is wrong, give a solution instead of just standing around pointing fingers (yes even though there are times when pointing fingers [furious] is important)

However, PAP and govt has often ignored the questions in the past, remains to be seen if they will come down from their ivory towers to the ground.

The minister should be asking his scholar subordinate for solution.. In a company the ones getting paid should be the solution provider for the paying customer complaint. So the getting paid minister should be the solution provider for the tax paying citizen's complaint.

I think what he is actually saying is to take charge, offer constructive criticism, don't just throw stones to stir the water but offer no credible solution.

So far almost 2 pages already but still no constructive criticism. Just coffee shop talk only.

I thought any stone-throwing is due to their ignoring previous feedbacks?

If people got better ideas and offer them, they will take it and claim credit.

I know we should not be selfish, but i cannot stand them claiming credit.

The worse part is they felt challenged/shamed by the better ideas offered.

How can we offer "constructive" ideas if we dont't know actual cost price of HDB, how much land is used for DBSS?

KBW knows himself now - he is trying to reverse what MBT did.

The credible solution FOR THE PEOPLE TO OFFER was to remove MBT. And it was exactly coffeeshop talk that removed him. All namecalling was not in vain.

Some people call these: speaking many-many, working little bit

Clearly the guy is out of his league.

Should have stayed in the army and inspire people just by wearing his stars instead of opening his mouth or trying to engage his brain.

Looks like his brain and his mouth not properly coordinated?

I'm not talking about trivial things like this.. More on national issues, like rising cost, rising HDB, rising medical, FT import. if you look at forum pages, there's no lack of solution offered, just they don't listen, or listen a little too late. Isn't it right that common citizen looks to the highly paid minister for solutions on national level, since he is a surrounded by super scale highly paid scholars.

Ever discussed with another MP. The MP agreed to the better idea. However, that MP died before anything done. No stone thrown, but will another MP die if further discussion?

Are we going to expect those who only have primary school cert who never studied economics not to complaint about rising HDB flat or inflation since he may not offer a alternate solution? Everyone has a right to complaint, comment on any issues of national interest.
